Stray Kids' new EP ‘DO IT’, released on Friday, 21st November 2025, is already a hit as it becomes Stray Kids 8th Album to be number 1 on the Billboard 200. The EP consists of five songs: "Do It," "DIVINE," "Holiday," "Photobook," and "Do It (Festival Version)," which lean into their signature self-produced style and experimentation. ‘DO IT’ achieved over one million pre-saves on Spotify, becoming the first K-POP album and third album worldwide to do this. This release is the second since they concluded their record-breaking DominATE world tour, which finished in Italy earlier this year.

Stray Kids is a 4th-generation K-pop group that has built their identity around their creative ideas and control. Each track is written and produced by 3RACHA - the production team included three members of the group: Bang Chan, Changbin and Han – which gives their discography a cohesive feel even if it changes between moods and styles. “DO IT is the most recent evolution in this record-breaking group's trajectory. In an interview earlier this year, the group says that they want to go down in history as one of the longest lasting group (BBC), suggesting they are not planning on stopping any time soon.

The EP is a high – impact production layering unexpected beats, synths and percussion in keeping with their experimental style. The songs are a mix of rhythmic rap and powerful vocals that lean on each member's strengths to give the EP an essential collaborative energy.

The EP kicks off with the title track “DO IT”, which is a bold track about doing what you want and not thinking about what others think and “Just do it”. The track blends rap and vocals with lyrics that revolve around pushing forward, taking risks and refusing to hesitate. The Ep continues with the punchy songs with “Divine”, then settles into slower songs with “Holiday” and “Photobook”. “Holiday” gives a warm and nostalgic atmosphere with soft melodies and story-driven lyrics. “Photobook” also carries on with

the storytelling theme, with the melody creating an emotional buildup. The EP then finishes with the festival version of “DO IT”. A remix that adds a heavy EDM influence, extended build-up and more aggressive delivery of both the rap and vocal lines.

The EP’s biggest limitation is its short run time, which doesn’t allow the project to build. The addition of another song or the reorganisation of the songs could make the flow of the EP feel more fluid. The two biggest and most powerful songs are at the start, which can make the ending feel flat as the last is song is a repeat of the first song. Adding another energetic song to the end of the EP could have pushed the EP further.

Overall, DO IT continues to show the power of Stray Kids on the global level while still sticking to what the fans love about Stray Kids, with even the performances keeping its charismatic style. The group thrives on their individuality and keeps finding new ways to entertain and surprise listeners.
