Additionally, trench coats and loafers are being sported. Easily transformed into formal or casual wear depending on the occasion. Bessette-Kennedy's style stood out as it was minimal and fell into what the internet calls ‘quiet luxury’ aesthetic. It would’ve been quite rare to see a public figure wearing such mundane clothes; it makes Bessette-Kennedy stand out from other public figures, apart from her being Kennedy.

Although this being a trend seems to be completely the opposite of what both the television show suggests, and the woman herself would’ve thought. Since the people partaking would be buying into ‘fast fashion’ pieces to achieve this sense of style more easily. Rather than curating it over time. Suntia Kumar Nair, the creative director and author of CBK: Carolyn Bessette Kennedy: A Life in Fashion, said to the Guardian, “She is probably the antithesis of what Gen Z has been growing up with...the quieter you are, the more interest you or mystery you engender” (Braun, 2026).
The final episode is on the 29th of March, so we will have to see if this ‘trend’ lives.
